Summary
Various units within the College of Art and Design utilize shared file storage on CoAD-maintained servers. CoAD IT currently maintains the following servers used for this purpose:
- desn-designsrv2.lsu.edu
- desn-knox.lsu.edu
All content stored on these servers is backed-up daily using Tivoli Storage Manager. Backups are stored for 30 days.
Off-campus
Shared storage is only available while on the campus network. If off-campus or on a non-LSU network, you will need to connect to the Virtual Private Network (VPN) before being able to access shared storage. To accomplish this:
- First, install the Cisco AnyConnect Client
- Second, connect to the VPN
